For example a combination of 15% equity & 85% fixed income can generate a regular income for the investor without consuming the investors’ capital.
  • Debt oriented hybrid funds invests a major portion of the corpus in fixed income securities to generate stable income & to provide stability to the portfolio and a minor portion in equity securities to generate equity market related returns.
  • SBI Magnum Children’s Benefit Plan invests in debt instruments, Government Securities and money market instruments and equity & equity related instruments. The proportion of the scheme portfolio invested in each type of security vary in accordance with economic conditions, interest rates, liquidity and other relevant considerations, including the risks associated with each investment. Scheme invests upto 25% of the corpus in equity and equity related instruments.
